Na dann hoffen wir mal, dass sie Einzelkonzerte spielen. Will mir den Ring nicht antun. Vielleicht kommen sie ja auch zum Pinkpop, das wär zu göttlich!

Ich wollte eigentlich nicht zu Rock am Ring fahren... aber meine Güte... es ist Tenacious D! Ich wollte die schon immer live sehen. Ich hoffe aber auch noch auf Einzelkonzerte.. Es würde ja eines reichen, zB London, Paris, Belrin, München... was weiß ich. Da wäre ich schon sehr zufrieden. Ich mag keine Festivals... ich will mir die ganze Camperei einfach nicht antun!

Wenn dir der Ort egal ist, denn spekulier doch zur Not auf Tageskarten für Rock im Park. Hat es die letzten Jahre immer gegeben. Letztes Jahr habe ich am SOAD-Tag dafür ca. 80€ bezahlt. Ist auf jeden Fall günstiger als das ganze Festival und die doofe Camperei muss auch nicht sein

Bezweifle ich...ich denke dass es so ne Mischung sein wird wie auf der US Tour  ein Teil nur Akkustik Rest dann halt volle Band....

BlizzCon 2010 haben sie einige Songs vom kommenden Album schon gespielt UND mit Dave Grohl am Schlagzeug.

Ich denke das die Europa Sets nur Akustik sein werden, ohne Band.

Die werden normale Bandbesetzung wie 2008 auf ihrer Festivaltour in England spielen. JB und KG und dazu dann John Konesky an der Gitarre, John Spiker am Bass und Brooks Wackerman (übrigens der Drummer von Bad Religion) an den Drums.

TENACIOUS D'S RIZE OF THE FENIX SET FOR RELEASE MAY 15TH

On May 15, 2012 Tenacious D will unleash Rize of the Fenix, the band's first studio album in over six years.

"We recorded down and dirty in a friend's garage with a shoestring budget of 600 dollars, much like Nirvana's first album "Bleach"-or the Beatles first album "Help". Rough and yet a masterpiece."

From their concentrated effort emerged thirteen profoundly evocative tracks, the making of which the band describes as a "journey similar to that of Gandolph in The Lord of the Rings." When the ill received Pick of Destiny movie failed to strike box office gold, it virtually stripped away the duos rock god stature overnight. "There we no more bouncers waving us through the velvet ropes, we were persona non gratta" said singer Jack Black. Kyle Gass added, "There we were- just like Gandolph the grey, down in the muck- but we never gave up, We defeated our own personal demons and began chipping away, slowly climbing back to the land of the living- when we emerged we were no longer the old Tenacious D, we were Gandolph the white, with new powers and wisdom and bravery and skills."



Tenacious D Announce May 2012 Tour Dates With Appearances at SXSW and Sasquatch Festival

Tenacious D will hit the road this May in support of their new album Rize of the Fenix. The band will kick things off in Austin, TX for a special SXSW performance at Haven and is open to SXSW Music badge and wristband holders, for more information, go to www.sxsw.com. The run includes stops in Santa Barbara, Oakland and Vancouver, BC (see below for full dates and on sale details). On Memorial Day, Tenacious D will perform in Washington at the Sasquatch Festival. So heute angekommen....ist zumindest bei Amazon in der Vinyl Version ein Poster dabei(Größe 12x24)
MP3 Download-Code funktioniert aber (noch) nicht.

Find das Album klasse man sollte mal zählen, wie oft das böse Wort mit den 4 Buchstaben vorkommt Kauf hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt.

So die vinyl to mp3  downloadpage geht zwar nun auch aus deutschland. Nur der downloadbutton geht nicht. Zumindest nicht bei mir und mit firefox. Nochmal mit dem IE testen ging nicht da mein code ja lazt system schon eingegeben war. Naja mal sehn wie schnell der support da reagiert
