CHRISTMAS LIGHTS LIVE IN LIVERPOOL
Hello again. On Sunday night in Liverpool, Coldplay performed their new single, Christmas Lights, on stage for the very first time (with a little help from Take That's Gary Barlow and Chris's dad dressed as Elvis). Roadie #42 has recently delivered a couple of great dispatches from the studio where Coldplay are recording their fifth album. First up was his first Studiofeed video which gives an intriguing insight into goings on in the Beehive (you'll notice underneath it that we're asking you to recommend interesting videos too). And then, today, he posted his latest blog with news of songs blossoming and roadies blowing things up.

LATEST PIERCES EP OUT NOW
The Pierces, whose lush, haunting music was produced by Guy Berryman and Coldplay producer Rik Simpson, recently released their new You'll Be Mine EP. For more info, and to check out a video of Guy performing the title track with them, click here.

EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL OUT THIS WEEK

We're about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it's as good a time as any to put out a new song.

'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' will be available digitally on Friday 3rd June at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it'll come out on the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.

We'll also stream it on Coldplay.com on Friday and give it a run out at Rock Im Park.

GLASTONBURY PERFORMANCE TO BE BROADCAST WORLDWIDE
We're pleased to report that you'll be able to experience Coldplay's headline set on Glastonbury's Pyarmid Stage on Saturday (June 25th) wherever in the world you are. In the UK, the show - which begins at 10.15pm UK time - will be broadcast live on BBC2 and BBC HD. It will also be shown live on Germany's ZDF Kultur channel and Brazil's Multishow. Meanwhile, in America, it airs on VH1 and Palladia, at 10pm ET/PT. A portion of the show will also be broadcast live on the radio - and you can listen online, wherever you are. WATCH FRIDAY'S ITUNES FESTIVAL SHOW ONLINE

LONDON SHOW TO STREAM LIVE ACROSS THE WORLD
Hello again. On Friday (July 22), Coldplay will headline a show at London's Roundhouse venue as part of this year's iTunes Festival. The entire performance will be broadcast live to all 23 countries with an iTunes Store, via iTunes on PC/Mac and on the iTunes Festival app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Coldplay are due on at 9.15pm (click here to find out what time that is where you are). Plus. tune in at 7.45pm to see the support set from The Pierces, whose wonderful album was produced by Coldplay's very own Guy Berryman. For more information on how to watch, head to itunesfestival.com. The show will also be broadcast live on Xfm radio, and via the station's website (NB: you'll need a UK postcode to listen online).

WIN A SIGNED COLDPLAY MARKER PEN
For the Viva tour, a small batch of special Coldplay-branded marker pens were made, and given out to the crew. They disappeared very quickly, but we've managed to find one, which we're going to get signed and give away to you folks. NEW ALBUM, OUT OCTOBER 24


Mylo Xyloto was produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, with enoxification and additional composition by Brian Eno. The album will be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats. A special limited edition Pop-Up Album version will also be available, which will include a 12" x 12" hardback book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, excerpts from the studio diary and the band's personal notebooks.

The next single from the album is called Paradise. It's coming out on September 12.

The full tracklisting of the album (which was finished last week) has also now been announced. It includes Princess Of China, which features vocals by Rihanna.
