sehr geile band, super sound, kann man nur empfehlen *daumen hoch

Leute, schaut euch diese Band an, wo ihr nur könnt!   :D

was war das gestern für ein geiler abend, ein knaller nach dem andern in der 90-min. Setlist.
Von den insges. 4 Bands hab ich nur noch nie Vorband Waxy mitgekricht (die ich recht erträglich fand, stoner à la qotsa imho) und dann natürlich VOLBEAT  

Für den Abend gibt's nur 4 buchstaben

Vor allem der Sänger hat mich beeindruckt, auf Platte kann man ja jeden besser machen, abe die Stimme kam live dermaßen geil, ein Hammersänger der typ.  
ab und zu ham sie auch ein paar flüssige leckereien in die ersten reihen gegeben ;D
supersympatischer auftritt, die haben auch gesagt, dass sie in zehn minuten unten bei den leuten sind und mit ihnen feiern, musste dann aber leider weg, und ich ärger mich im nachhinein sehr, dass ich nich meine cam mitgenommen habe

Fazit: Geiler Abend :)

btw: es wurde mit mehrern professionellen kameras gefilmt und ich hab einen der kameraleute gefragt, ob das für eine dvd ist, und ja es ist  ;D

ich zweifle an das die meisten hier erkennen können was Professionell ist und was nicht, zudem ist "ja für DVD" auch meine normale antwort..

suchst du dir die themen, wozu du was sagst nur danach aus, wo du dran rummeckern kannst? nichts zur band, nichts zur tour, nich mal ein schlechter witz von dir ...

es ist zum aus der haut fahren, dass du nich einmal deine verdammte klappe halten kannst  >:( >:( >:(

bei den ärzten kann ich das ja noch verstehen, dass du immerzu den oberkenner markierst, aber halt doch einfach mal, da, wo du in betracht ziehen könntest, evtl. keine ahnung zu haben, deine finger still und klicke nich auf den antworten-button

dass eine dvd seit monaten angekündigt ist, kannst du doch gar nich wissen, wenn du dich, was offensichtlich der fall ist, überhaupt nicht mit der band auseinandersetzt  ::)

Kenne die Band nicht, hab sie mir mal auf myspace angehört, klingt da alles so? Oder machen die eigentlich wat anderes

die klingen schon überall so wie auf myspace, nur dort ist die akustikgitarre überproportional stark vertreten.
volbeat haben meines wissens erst 4 songs mit akustikgitarrenparts aufgenommen, und davon sind halt 2 auf der page gelandet.
das ist einfach schöner, feiner riffrock / metal - ich liebe es und freue mich wie blöde auf die dvd  :D

hab sie grad am wochenende beim summerbreeze festival gesehn. leider gottes eine verdammt schlechte liveband kommt live nicht annähernd an die cds ran. ich war während des auftrittes relativ gelangweilt....

ektomorf sind ganz witzig, bisschen soulfly verschnitt.

ich find auch, die sind erschreckend schnell erschreckend teuer geworden... und auf ektomorf als support hätte ich echt auch gar keinen bock...

So, war gestern innner Turbinenhalle.
Meine Angst vor EKTOMORF hat sich bestätigt, aber meine Vorfreude auf Volbeat wurde vollkommen erfüllt, hatte heute morgen kurzzeitig überlegt heute noch nach Enschede zu fahren
Einziges Manko war nur die Spíelzeit, die nicht ganz 80 Minuten war, für 32€ etwas wenig und das Canada-Tourshirt bekommen habe, obwohl ich das aktuelle wollte.

Ich kann jedem Volbeat empfehlen!

der sänger michael poulsen ist übrigens vor kurzem on stage abgeklappt und musste erst mal ins krankenhaus gebracht werden. soll aber nichts weiter gewesen, als dass er "grippeähnliche symptome" nicht auskuriert hat und stattdessen weiter konzerte gegeben hat und irgendwann wars dann genug.

es gibt übrigens einen unveröffentlichten song gratis abzugreifen, wenn ihr euch für den newsletter eintragt.

"Stockholm death metal" simply wouldn't be without ENTOMBED – and that's despite that the band is much more than just pioneers within this genre. It is exactly 20 years ago that ENTOMBED released the groundbreaking death metal album "Left Hand Path" through the then equally groundbreaking label Earache Records; and shortly after the equally seminal albums "Clandestine" and "Wolwerine Blues" where especially the latter marked the band further and gave them the label death 'n' roll.
Ever since then the band has constantly challenged themselves and the world with their totally unique approach and structure, composition and not least the choice of sound on the following albums. Hab mir die Scheibe heute sofort geholt und nach zweimal hören würde ich sagen, dass sie wieder ein absoluter Kracher. Vielleicht 1-2 Songs zu viel, aber fast nur Hits :)
Volbeat sind für mich weiterhin momentan eine der besten Bands.

ich fand die letzte schwach, aber heute habe ich mir die während der arbeit bis zum siebten oder achten track anhören können und ich war sehr positiv überrascht! ich hatte volbeat ehrlich gesagt schon ein bisschen abgeschrieben, nach dem ganzen cadilac-kram, aber mit diesem album sollte man doch noch mal ein auge auf die november-tour werfen.

hat jemand von euch die limited edition mit der tilburg-dvd?
das wird doch nicht das konzert sein, wo poulsen damals ohnmächtig geworden ist? würde mich über ne antwort freuen, wenn jemand weiß, wie lang die spielzeit ist und ob sie sich lohnt. :)

Zur DVD habe ich auch keine Ahnung, aber das schrieb einer bim forum ei ringrocker.com "So DVD ist gerade durchgelaufen, en Traum, super Quali, nur leider zu kurz, aber ich finde so gehört sich das, das Konzi nachhole"

ah, okay, dann werden die das nachholkonzert auch auf die dvd gepackt haben. gab davon auf jeden fall auch einmal eine vollständige aufnahme bei 3voor12.nl zu sehen, aber die find ich nicht mehr und wär ja auch verständlich, wenn die jetzt nicht mehr verfügbar ist.

Hör sie seit ca. 2009, aber seit die neue Live-DVD/-CD draussen ist ham se mich voll.

Nur schade, dass Thomas (Gitarre) die Band verlassen hat/verlassen musste kurz nach VÖ der "Live from beyond ...".
Sie werden die angekündigten Gigs ja aber trotzdem spielen, entweder als Trio oder mit Aushilfsgitarrist.

Damit bist du einer der ganz wenigen. Die meisten finden sie furchtbar, wozu ich auch gehöre. Der Anfang ist noch gut, aber der Refrain total larifari und belanglos. Das Video ist auch eher unteres Niveau...

Also einerseits find ich den neuen Song sehr cool, zeigt (mal wieder) das Volbeat eben alles andere als nur Metal ist. Sie sind eben in kein Genre einzusortieren (was ich allgemein sehr mag).
Andererseits hätt ich mir schon 'ne Spur härter gewünscht.
Naja, mal abwarten wie das komplette neue Album ist. In zwei Wochen kommt's ja endlich raus ...

Video hab und werd ich nicht bewerten, da ich mir die so gut wie nie anschau.

als Single finde ich den Song auch viel zu belanglos, als Lückenfüller auf nem Album aber in Ordnung. Wenn aber so ein Song als Single ausgekoppelt wird gibts ja eigentlich nur 2 möglichkeiten. Entweder ist der Rest noch schlechter, oder alle anderen songs sind so harter stoff das die Plattenfirma die nicht für Radiotauglich hält  ;)

Ich mag den melodischen Kram. Hingegen war das Debut Album "The Strength / The Sound / The Songs" eine Katastrophe.

Hab leider zu spät Gehalt bekommen und nu gibt's keine Innenraum Stehplätze mehr für München am 13. November 2013.
Hat da jemand noch eins über? Wenn möglich ein sogenanntes "Fan-Ticket"?

Mal rein interessehalber Nachgefragt.Was ist der Unterschied da zu einem normalen Ticket?

Hab mir nu aber mal für 80 Euro bei eBay so 'n Fan-Ticket gekauft. (Innenraum Stehplatz klar; 50 war VVK + Gebühr = 60 Euro; 20 Euro mehr ist noch im Rahmen)
Passt einfach vom Termin her perfekt ...

Stuttgart und Düsseldorf wird noch kommen ... denk' ich.
Aber erst wenn Rock'n'Heim und Rock im Pott (nahe an) ausverkauft oder vorbei sind.

Ein Freund von mir aus Memmingen hat mir gestern bescheid geben, dass es die limited Tour edition die 2009 vom Album "Guitar gangsters & Cadillac blood" raus kam bei ihm im Ort im MediaMarkt plötzlich in geringer Stückzahl wieder gibt.
Hab dann gleich bei Amazon.de nachgeschaut und tada! Dort gibt es auch wieder einige wenige Exemplare.

Die neue Single "By A Monster's Hand":



Ich hatte auf etwas mehr Härte gehofft. Wobei die Single zumindest ab der Mitte in die richtige Richtung geht.
Die ersten vier Alben feiere ich durchgängig.

Der Song ist okay. Da gab es viele schlechtere Singles in den vergangenen Jahren.
